Job Description

They are seeking a Supply Chain Administrator who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all local procurement activities of the grant project to ensure competitive buying and sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing procurement planning and in consolidation and approval of annual procurement plan.
  • Plan, organize and implement all local procurement activities of the grant project to ensure competitive buying and sourcing.
  • Assist in reviewing PRs to ensure clear specifications are attached, appropriate signatories reviewed and signed.
  • Collect price quotations from short-listed prequalified suppliers as per WVE procurement manual and submit to procurement committee.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders to the project manager in collaboration with finance managers.
  • Manage receiving, proper storage, issuing, and timely delivery of materials and goods to/from the warehouse.
  • Ensure well scheduled, safe, reliable, and cost-effective support service management.
  • Submit standardized annual and periodic reports related to support services management.
  • Participate in planning for change/improvement sessions related to support service policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of NGO operations and practices is an added advantage
  • Excellent computer skills in Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated ability in support services supervision
  • Good planning and organizational skills
