Position 1: Specialist: Billing Operations

Job Requirements 

  • Degree in Telecommunication Engineering/Electrical & Electronics engineering/Computer Science/IT.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a busy telecommunication/ IT environment or Software Engineering with good knowledge of Mobile and Fixed services
  • Working knowledge in Unix systems and Databases – Oracle, MySQL.
  • Expertise in various analytics tools such and Python, Standard Query languages
  • Experience in Procedural Programming languages, Linux/Unix, scripting,
  • Proficiency in networking protocols – TCP/IP, professional certification e.g. CCNA/CCNP or equivalent is preferred
  • Prior Experience in GSM and fixed services billing is preferred
  • Domain experience in GSM and IT is a must

Position 2: MPESA BACK-OFFICE SUPPORT

Job Qualifications 

  • Degree from a recognized university; diploma holders with substantial experience in customer care and an excellent performance track record will be considered.
  • Proficiency in both English and a local Ethiopian language (Amharic/Oromia/Tigrinya/ Somali/Afar) spoken and written
  • Demonstrate ability to handle pressure and perform duties well to completion within agreed SLAs
  • Be a team player, working to close set targeted case escalations and team targets
  • Experience in the role of back-office support or Team Leader within a Contact Centre environment will be an added advantage

Position 3: IT Solutions Architect

Job Qualifications 

  • Degree in Science/computer science/Engineering/Business related degree from reputable education institution.
  • 3+ technical background in software development inclusive of databases, applications, Infrastructure, cloud development and 2+ years experience in solutions architecture and system design.
  • A “hands-on software architect” capable of sharing software development best practices with the rest of the team, which in turn helps them better understand how the architecture is viewed from a development perspective.
  • Experience of software development lifecycle is essential, in agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Certification in Solution Architecture and Cloud expertise certification preferably TOGAF or any Cloud (AWS /Azure /GCP/Alibaba etc ) or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of Microservice and Multiple Architecture Design paradigms will be an added advantage.
  • Domain experience in GSM or Telco Industry will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to drive initiatives without any formal authority in an ambiguous and startup environment with strong business acumen and leadership mindset
  • Ability to mentor/coach developers and other solution architects in architecture principles
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions; demonstrable leadership skills and organizational experience
  • Ability to identify all the non-functional aspects required for a deploy a secure and performant solution into production.
  • Understanding of Containerization and Kubernetes among modern solution technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate, take complete ownership of workstreams and influence others Experience with Nokia core systems will be an added advantage

Position 4: Trade Marketing Support

Job Requirements:

  • ·       Degree in a Business-related field.
  • ·       Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • ·       Very strong focus on Customer insights and proven ability to combine numbers and analytics to understand, predict and influence customer behavior
  • ·       Intermediate knowledge of business finance principles is essential.
  • ·       3 years hands on experience in Sales, Marketing
  • ·       Experience in Sales Distribution will be of an added advantage. 
  • ·       Highly results and performance oriented.
  • ·       Excellent team player.
  • ·       Excellent Negotiation/Influencing and Presentation skills.

Position 5: Analyst – Quality Assurance

Job Requirements:

·  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

·  4+ years hands on experience working within in a service-oriented company, with business analysis experience.

· Excellent knowledge of Safaricom products and services, processes & procedures

· Excellent knowledge of Call center operations

· Understands the customer requirements and key deliverables in the quality assurance process i.e. Quality evaluation, Creation of assessment forms, Appeals, Calibration etc.

· Has first-hand knowledge and experience of customer feedback surveys e.g. NPS, CSAT, CES

· Must be analytical and have excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate), coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.

· Must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. 

· Strong collaborator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams, with people from different backgrounds.

· Confident, energetic and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude, Creative, complex problem-solving.

· Self-motivated, requiring little supervision and able to meet strict deadlines

· Quality Assurance training/Certification will be an added advantage
