Job Description:
Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C is a transformed Commercial Microfinance institution initially established according to proclamation no. 40/96 and recently revised proclamation 626/2009 issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia. The institution aims to provide financial and non-financial services to Medium, Small Enterprises, and low-income individuals, particularly women, in both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia. Currently, Meklit MFI is seeking candidates for the position of Branch Manager I.

Term of Employment: Permanent

Job Requirements:
- Education: Candidates should have a BA/Diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Banking, or a related field.
- Experience: Applicants must have 2 to 6 years of experience in a related role.
- Technical and Other Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills to promote a team approach and implement the organization’s Strategic Plan successfully.
- Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, and the capability to interact and work effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Good conceptual understanding of participatory approaches and sustainable development.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Familiarity with MFI industry rules and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
