Job Description:

Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C is a transformed Commercial Microfinance institution S.C providing financial and non-financial services to Medium, Small Enterprises, and the low-income people, particularly women in both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia. The institution is seeking to hire a Branch Manager I for their Addisu Gebya Branch in Addis Ababa.

Job Requirements:

EducationBA/Diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Banking and Financial Education
Experience2/6 years of experience in related work
Technical SkillsAbility to provide leadership, communicate effectively, promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment, demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, good conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development, basic computer skills, familiarity with MFI industry’s rules and regulations, and excellent organizational skills.
Other SkillsGood written and oral communication skills, good presentation skills, and problem-solving skills.
