Lucy Insurance Revalidates its Vision and Mission Statements
Concludes preparation of five year Strategic Plan
Lucy Insurance S.C. has terminated the preparation of the second five year strategic plan that is to serve as a road map for the years from 2020/21 to 2024/25.
The strategic plan that gives special focus on growth and expansion is believed to raise the company’s market share by withstanding the competition in the industry.
Through its Vision 2030, the visitor aspires to be one of the weightier five insurance companies in Ethiopia by 2030 by up-and-coming service excellence and by providing diverse products to customers. The visitor has moreover revalidated its mission statement in a view to write consumer and stakeholder satisfaction and discharging corporate social responsibility.
The Strategic Plan that has been thoroughly reviewed and tried by the company’s Board of Directors is to come into gravity from the upcoming year 2020/21.
Position 1: Senior Marketing Officer
Qualifications: B.sc degree in a related field of study, such as management, marketing, statistics, or economics.
Minimum of four years experience, preferably in jobs related to sales and marketing.
Main duties & responsibility:
- Formulate strategic marketing and sales plan
- Manage & control the implementation of marketing & sales plan
- Manage to have sales target achieved among the team
- Approaching and calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases
- Conducting promotional activities
Skills: Computer literate
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Senior ICT Officer
Qualifications: BSC Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience as an ICT Officer is needed, and knowledge of the insurance sector is a bonus. A professional certification in networking or security, such as the Cisco CCNA or CCNP, is a plus. You must also be knowledgeable about server operating systems including Windows Server, Exchange Server, and AD.
Main duties & responsibility:
- Designing and implementing the company’s Network infrastructure, resolving advanced Support issues
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Configure and install software, servers, core routers, endpoint security, wireless access points, circuits controllers, and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and integrity, security and data protection, Control the flow of data and commands within the company network system
- Mentor team members on technical issues
- Create, oversee and test security measures and disaster recovery
Skills: Computer literate

Salary and benefit: WITH THE COMPANY SALARY SCALE & BENEFIT THAT MAY BE SUBJECT TO NEGOTIATION AS APPROPRIATE
