Job Vacancy: Branch Manager at ZamZam Bank

ZamZam Bank seeks to hire a Branch Manager for their branches located in Addis Ababa, Dessie, Woldiya, Shashemene, and Assosa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the branch, building high-performance teams, problem-solving, coaching and mentoring, effective communication, sales and marketing skills, negotiation skills, internal control, and have knowledge of core banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the branch effectively and efficiently.
• Build high-performance teams by recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
• Problem-solving, coaching, and mentoring employees to ensure they meet targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure internal controls are in place and followed according to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Engage in effective communication with the internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies to increase business growth and profitability.
• Utilize negotiation skills to manage clients and build relationships.
• Oversee the usage of core banking applications.

Requirements:

• A BA degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other related business fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of banking operation experience, of which 2 years must be as senior officer/customer service manager or an equivalent role in branch banking.
• Strong ability to manage people and resources to achieve set goals.
• Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Sales and marketing experience is vital.
• Must have knowledge of core banking applications.
