 Logistics Coordinator. 

Result Area:Dispatch & control flow of Habesha beer products.

·         Plan the dispatch of Full Good based on the sales & stock report received from operation manger, availability of truck, transit time, production plan & requested production mix & drivers travel record, notify assigned trucks to all stake holders for timely loading & offloading

·         Control the flow of material between the factory and WHs & vice versa for safe and on time delivery

·         Ensure proper utilization of truck by continuously evaluating TAT (truck turnaround time) and managing quantity per shipment

·         Manage truck availability by coordinating with fleet maintenance office and transporters for scheduled maintenance and repair

·         Closely work with WH staff to expedite the flow of material and others

Truck drivers and transporters administration

·         Manage truck driver fuel request, per dime and receipt verification and settlement request and process transportation payment

·         Handle annual leave requestPerformance Evaluation

·         Set transporters and drivers KPI

·         Evaluate transporters and drivers’ performance

·         provide feedback on regular basis

·         Take corrective measures to improve the transport serviceRecord keeping and reporting

·         Update changes on driver’s name and plate number on SAP.

·         Maintain adequate record of each delivery, effective usage of the company’s fleet management system and proper utilization of SAP to provide information which can serve as a basis for sound management decision

·         Ensure all transfer ins/outs are captured by WH staff on SAP on daily basis

·         Report accidents and savings, truck on transit, transfer in/out manual record vs. system reconciliation and others.

·         Carryout different transportation analysis to ensure the company’s profitability in terms of transportation

 Category Manager.

The Role Summary:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective and efficient sourcing of assigned material group at the right quality, right quantity, at the right time at optimal cost without interruption or delay in the flow of work. The Category Manager develops and implements sourcing strategies that ensure the flawless sourcing and delivery of materials in line with the Company’s plans, policies, and procedures.

Result Area:

Lead the category

·         Be a true and trustworthy business partner to the business and its stakeholders

·         Analyze and identify opportunities to maximize the contribution of the category and the category results

·         Identify and challenge the demands and needs (i.e., quantities/specifications and service levels) of internal stakeholders within your category

·         Collect market dynamics and stay up to date with trends and risks of the market

·         Drive and challenge internal stakeholders to obtain optimal results

Suppliers Performance Management

·         SPM carried out for the contracted suppliers

·         Ensure suppliers evaluated against the KPI in the contract.

·         Ensure all suppliers evaluation reports with the score card is communicated to all Habesha internal and external stalk holders.

·         Provide support to procurement officers and Managers to conduct quality SPM review.

Contracting & Contract Management

·         Leads the creation of contracts in line with the Habesha Standards and in cooperation with Legal Affairs

·         Contract coverage for all suppliers particularly

·         Ensure 100 % supplier Master data and contract tracker are updated for all Habesha suppliers (and digitalized).

·         Ensure justifiable sourcing documentation maintained for all preferred suppliers.

·         Ensure all in -house contracts are stored in a record form in a timely manner and create financial summaries for each contract records.

Risk Assessments

·         Evaluates risks of doing business with relevant suppliers

·         Obtains insight into the financial health of suppliers

·         Assures suppliers work according to Habesha’s Standards

 Continuous Process Improvement

·         Makes sure that all the contract activities are in line with the Habesha Procurement Policies

·         Monitors and evaluates performance of suppliers and own company activities to improve customer satisfaction

·         Develops and monitors Key performance indicators for the respective suppliers

Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for an Installation and Maintenance Technician.

The Role Summary:
Installation and Maintenance Technician is responsible for coordinating and execution of planned installations, maintenance, and cleaning of draught equipment after installations; execution of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks that carried out by other technicians of IC machines; ensures reliability of IC machines through execution and supervision of quality installation, maintenance, and Cleaning.

Result areas and Responsibilities
Installation of draught machines, draught towers, and CO2 system

• Conduct confirmation visit including checking of Voltage supply 220V+10%, Power source from the grid (No Load sharing), Water outlets and agreed on the position where to be
• Mobilize the machines, Installation accessories and full CO2 cylinder from warehouse to the selected outlets
• Position all the items properly at the pre-aligned place and connect them
• Make sure the machine has enough space for good air circulation
• Fill the water to the correct level & put on the machine
• Clean the beer line with Desana Max and make ready the line to pour the beer
• Check whether the machine has developed ice or not in three hours of installations
• Commission the machine using pouring beer and fine tune if there is any foaming issue

Execution of Planned and Unplanned maintenance of the draught system
• Execute all planned maintenance tasks as per the planned work detail
• Perform quality maintenance to ensure reliability of machines and to reduce unplanned IC cooler stoppages
• Adherence to assigned planned maintenance activities and completing them as planned
• Analyzes the root cause of break down and report the findings
• Responsible to avoid repetitive issue after maintenance activity has been done
• Visiting of outlets for checking of the draft system and reporting findings
• Responsible to execute the work order within required time
• Prepare and implement minor improvements in draft machine system
• Communicate Installation and Maintenance manager as well as Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor for execution of minor modifications and/or extra follow-up is needed as required

Preparation of spares parts
• Work with Installation, Maintenance, and cleaning supervisor to establish Min-Max Level of spare parts and cleaning chemicals
• Prepare specification of required stock and non-stock spare parts for purchase ordering
• Follow up the availability of spares in stock and communicate for replenishment

The Person:
This role is positioned at the mid-level and requires level-3 Diploma in General Mechanics or Automotive and 3 years of experience in maintaining equipment, more preferably draught machine coolers. Having a certificate to maintain a draught cooler is a plus.
