Ethiopia Commodity Exchange New Job Vacancy 2022 is a commodities exchange established April 2008 in Ethiopia. In Proclamation 2007-550, which created the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange, its stated objective was “to ensure the development of an efficient modern trading system” that would “protect the rights and benefits of sellers, buyers, intermediaries, and the general public.
Ethiopia Commodity Exchange is to become a leading and dynamic African Exchange of choice. Ethiopia Commodity Exchange has a mission to provide a modern, efficient, transparent and reliable market platform and warehousing service through adaptation of technology, excellence in innovation and with integrity. Ethiopia Commodity Exchange is a unique partnership of market actors, Members of the Exchange, and its main promoter, the Government of Ethiopia.
Position 1: Junior Application Developer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System or other related field.
- 6 months IT related experience.
The purpose of the job is to participate in and assist the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of new or existing non business (corporate) and business applications; to perform the daily data warehouse activities; to provide tier I technical support for all business and corporate applications software and a database which encompasses support and maintenance of headquarter and regional trading centers application software.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa/Head Office
Position 2: Associate Application Development and System Maintenance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System or other related field;
- 2 years relevant IT related Experience out of which 1 years on software development.
The purpose of the job is to design, develop, maintain and enhance new or existing non business (corporate) applications; to perform the daily data warehouse activities, to contribute in the design and development of business application software; to ensure effective and efficient web and windows based software development, system support and troubleshooting of enterprise solutions with high availability and high performance requirements; to provide tier I technical support for all business and corporate applications software and a database which encompasses support and maintenance of headquarter and regional trading centers application software.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa/Head Office.
