Position: Agile Expert
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Information Management, Information Technology Management, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or related fields.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of general experience in Agile Transformation.
- Demonstrated success in leading and supporting Agile initiatives in complex organizations.
- Proven track record of implementing Agile methodologies in diverse environments.
Required Certification and Other Credentials:
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Any additional Agile-related certifications or credentials that demonstrate expertise.
- Evidence of continuous learning and professional development in the field of Agile.
- Strong references or recommendations highlighting Agile leadership and coaching abilities.
Required Skills:
- Agile Expertise: In-depth understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies. Ability to customize Agile practices to meet organizational needs.
- Coaching and Facilitation: Excellent coaching and mentoring skills. Strong facilitation skills for conducting meetings, workshops, and retrospectives.
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Proficiency in resolving conflicts and addressing impediments. Strong problem-solving skills for process improvement.
- Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Inspirational leadership to drive Agile transformation.
- Technical Knowledge (Optional): Familiarity with software development practices and technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Agile Framework Implementation: Lead the organization’s Agile transformation efforts by selecting and tailoring Agile frameworks, develop and implement Agile processes, practices, and ceremonies.
- Training and Coaching: Design and deliver Agile training sessions, workshops, and coaching sessions. Mentor Agile teams in best practices.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with Agile teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Team Empowerment: Empower Agile teams to self-organize, make decisions, and take ownership of their work.
- Collaboration: Facilitate and promote collaboration among team members, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Metrics and Reporting: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPI) and Agile metrics.
- Change Management: Act as a change agent, manage resistance to change, and facilitate the adoption of Agile practices.
- Stakeholders Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and Agile initiatives.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate conflict resolution within Agile teams and promote healthy discussions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with Agile trends and integrate new knowledge into the organization’s Agile transformation strategy.
