Position 1: HR Intern (FEMALE ONLY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Management, Business Administration, or Human Resources Management.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ethical conduct.
  • Proficient in computer applications.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an HR Intern, you will provide comprehensive support to our Human Resources function. Your responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date personnel records for CARE Ethiopia staff, assisting with daily HR and administrative tasks, and liaising with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Position 2: Engineering Intern

Requirements:

  • BSC degree in Engineering (Construction, Hydraulic, etc.) or related field with no experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oromiffa language is advantageous.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Intern, you will actively contribute to the construction and supervision of school sanitary infrastructure projects. Your tasks will include participating in infrastructure work, supervising progress, mobilising community engagement, ensuring contractor compliance, and supporting training efforts.

Position 3: Public Health Intern

Requirements:

  • BSC degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related field with no experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of local language.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Public Health Intern, you will play a vital role in promoting health and hygiene practices at the school level. This involves distributing communication materials, mobilizing target groups, supporting capacity-building initiatives, and conducting regular supervision of hygiene promotion.

Position 4: MIS Intern

Requirements:

  • BA/BSC in Management Information System (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Data Management, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Research and data management skills.
  • Knowledge of local language.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an MIS Intern, you will actively engage in community-level promotion and facilitation work. Your responsibilities include raising awareness, collaborating with key stakeholders, mobilizing target groups, generating project data, and supporting various activities as assigned.
