Job Description

The Motor and Engineering Company of Ethiopia (MOENCO) is looking for a Finance Supervisor for immediate placement. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the branch in coordination with the work units at the head office.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze financial information, create monthly reports, manage account payables and receivables, and ensure accurate financial information records.
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
Analyze day-to-day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
Support market assessment in relation to product offerings from trade partners.
Oversee operations of the finance department and branch operation, design a framework for these to be met.
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to business plans.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
Oversee people management and advice for proper improvement areas.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Verify all branches and head office sublet work and local purchases.
