Abyssinia Bank is currently seeking qualified candidates for various job positions in different districts. The bank has registered significant growth in paid-up capital and total assets, indicating public confidence in its services.

One of their new offerings is a self-service machine that hosts branch banking through virtual tellers from the comfort of any ITM corner. Virtual banking is conducted through an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), which creates a hybrid experience of using an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and working with a live teller.

The job positions available are:

  1. Internal Auditor: Candidates must have an MBA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or other business-related fields. They should also have a minimum of 4/6 years of banking experience, of which 3 years should be in the area of audit.
  2. Junior Human Resource Officer: Candidates should have a BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or other related fields. They must also have a minimum of 2 years cognate banking experience.
  3. Associate Credit Underwriting Officer: Candidates must have a BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or other business-related fields. They should also have a minimum of 4 years of banking experience, of which 2 years should be in the area of credit.
  4. Associate Human Resource Officer: Candidates should have a BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or other related fields. They must also have a minimum of 4 years of banking experience, of which 2 years should be in the area of HRM.
  5. Banking Operation Officer: Candidates must have a BA Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields. They should also have 2 years and above of banking experience.
  6. Banking Business Officer: Candidates should have a BA Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields. They must also have 2 years and above of banking experience.
  7. Grade I Branch Business Manager: Candidates should have a BA Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields. They must also have 6 years and above of banking experience, with experience in a supervisory position being an advantage.
  8. Grade I Branch Operation Manager: Candidates should have a BA Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields. They must also have 5 years and above of banking experience, with experience in a supervisory position being an advantage.
  9. Grade I Branch Manager: Candidates must have an MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or other Business Related Field. They should also have 6/8 years of banking experience, with experience in a supervisory role being advantageous.
