Categories: Program Management/Implementation/SupportICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Software developers – Ethiopia. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and co-leading the technical approach for developing and eventually implementing OHRI. To ensure bi-directional data exchange between electronic medical records systems and aggregate systems and patient tracker systems, the Software developers will bring expertise to activities related to developing standards-based (HL7, FHIR) interoperability between EMR, Lab, and Case-Based Surveillance systems and development of program workflows within OHRI.  They also support other existing systems such as ERM-ART, EMR-Pharmacy, DHIS2, REDCap, and Viral load dashboard. The Software developers will also provide technical support regarding software development and updates, implementation, maintenance, and capacity-building activities among all supported project sites. They will be responsible for testing and installing software solutions.

ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the Software developer position by March 18, 2022. The successful candidate will hold B.Sc. degree in software engineering, software development, or appropriate field of study and more than 3 years of experience in software and systems design

The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record working on US Government-supported programs including NGO experience, the Ability to have Strong oral and written skills in English, Previous experience working at the National or Regional level is advantageous.
