Position: CCTV Camera Operator
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and IT from a reputable university.
- Graduates from the class of 2022 and 2023 with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 and above.
Experience: No prior experience required.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in data entry, analysis, and management.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Report writing ability.
- Keen attention to detail, capable of spotting small, seemingly inconspicuous details.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
As a CCTV Camera Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Efficiently operating and monitoring all surveillance security systems and cameras within the Control Centre, adhering to operating procedures, legislation, and best practices.
- Recording all events, incidents, and actions in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
- Maintaining the security of data and control room equipment, promptly reporting any equipment failures to management.
- Providing courteous radio and telephone answering services and efficiently handling inquiries.
- Collaborating with security agencies and staff members to ensure proper use of the CCTV system, including maintaining evidential records and witness statements in compliance with rules of evidence.
