Position 1: Manager Back Office IT

Job Requirement:

  • University Degree in an Information Technology related field.
  • 5-8 years’ experience as a senior support analyst in a User Support environment.
  • ITIL Certifications or Equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCSA, MCP.
  • CISCO Certification: CCNA.
  • Proficiency in Virtualized systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM and related software Deployment tools.
  • Ability to Project Desktop hardware and software requirements.
  • Proficiency in IT Projects Management.
  • Experience In Capex and Opex Management.
  • 4-year experience in Supplier/Vendor Management, IT Support Services sourcing, contract cost monitoring & Agreements Maintenance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent People Management skills.
  • Customer Obsession.

Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee timely and quality IT End User Device support across Safaricom. Implement strategic desktop technologies, aligning with business objectives. Collaborate with business partners for IT business solutions rollout. Ensure service requests are met within defined OLA’s/SLA’s and enhance timely service delivery.

Position 2: Manager – Back Office IT O365

Job Requirements:

  • BS or MS in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • ITIL Certifications or Equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCSA, MCP.
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 Platform, architecture, and functionality.
  • Experience in Virtualized systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM and related software Deployment tools.
  • Proficiency in IT Projects Management.
  • 4-6 years’ experience as a senior support analyst in a User Support environment.
  • Experience In Capex and Opex Management.
  • Experience in Supplier Management, IT Support Services sourcing, contract cost monitoring & Agreements Maintenance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent People Management skills.
  • Solution Oriented.

Responsibility:
Design, build, deliver, and support the office IT O365 platform for Corporate end users. Enable Safaricom’s Back Office IT operations and enhance communication and collaboration across teams.
