The UNOPS Ethiopia Multi-Country Office (ETMCO) is seeking an ICT Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for providing support to the ICT Officer in the areas of ICT management and administration, network administration and application management, and support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
- MCSE, ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are an asset.
- Fluency in written, reading, and oral English is required.
- Knowledge of Computer Networking and HTML5 is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the ICT Officer in the areas of ICT management and administration, network administration and application management, and support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
- Assist with the maintenance of inventory of all computer, telecommunication equipment, I/O devices, and software existent in the office ensuring compliance with registration and upgrades.
- Ensure the effective functioning (installation, operation, and maintenance) of all UNOPS hardware equipment and acquisition of hardware supplies.
- Participate in the development of a technical manual.
