Position :Cost and Budget Division Head

Company Background

Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is a leading coffee producer and exporter in Ethiopia, supplying quality coffee to both local and international markets. The company seeks a dedicated and motivated candidate to fill the position of Cost and Budget Division Head.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching, and assisting the Cost and Budget team. The role involves analyzing costs and budgets, providing feedback to improve policies and procedures, and managing the timely delivery of the Cost and Budget team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare actual vs. plan (budget) analysis and financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expenses.
Provide recommendations for corrective action based on status and summary reports.
Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on cost.
Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program.
Manage on-time and in-full delivery of the Cost and Budget team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or Accounting.
At least 10 years of experience, with 3 years as a Cost and Budget Division Head.
Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
Experience manipulating large databases preferred.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems preferred.
