Sheger Microfinance Institution is inviting fresh and qualified applicants to apply for the following positions:

Position 1: Senior Accountant

  • Qualifications: MA/BA in Accounting, Business Management, Finance and Accounting, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5/7 years of direct work experience or 7/9 years of work experience as a senior accountant in any financial institution.
  • Place of work:
  • Oromia region: Ambo, Fiche, Asella, Robe, Ginnir, Shashamanne, Jimma, DambiDolo, Nekemte, and Nedjo branches.
  • Sheger City: Koyefache, Legadadi, and Chanco branches.
  • Addis Ababa/Finfinne: Gulale and Goro branches.

Position 2: Teller

  • Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Management, Finance and Accounting, or related fields. OR Level IV (COC) in Accounting, Business Management, Management, Finance and Accounting, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience: 0 years of experience OR one (1) year of experience in any financial organization.
  • Place of work:
  • Oromia region: Ambo, Fiche, Asella, Robe, Ginnir, Shashamanne, Jimma, Dambi Dolo, Nekemte, and Nedjo branches.
  • Sheger City: Koyefache, Legadadi, and Chanco branches.
  • Addis Ababa/Finfinne: Gulale and Gorobranch branches.

Position 3: Accountant I

  • Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Management, Economics, or related fields. OR Level IV (COC) in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • For BA Degree holders: 1 year of direct work experience in microfinance as an accountant, 2 years as a cashier in Microfinance, or 3 years in any financial organization as an accountant.
  • For Level IV (COC) holders: 2 years of direct work experience in microfinance as an accountant or 4 years in any financial organization as an accountant.
  • Place of work:
  • Oromia region: Ambo, Fiche, Asella, Robe, Ginnir, Shashamanne, Jimma, DambiDolo, Nekemte, and Nedjo branches.
  • Sheger City: Koyefache, Legadadi, and Chanco branches.
  • Addis Ababa/Finfinne: Gulale and Gorobranch branches.

Position 4: Customer Service Officer I

  • Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Management, Agriculture, or other related fields. OR Level IV (COC) in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, Agriculture, or other related fields.
  • Experience:
  • For BA Degree holders: 1 year of Microfinance customer service/Loan officer experience, 2 years as sales or marketing or social worker in any organization, or Agriculture Development Agent.
  • For Level IV (COC) holders: 2 years of direct work experience in microfinance as a customer service officer or 3 years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Place of work:
  • Oromia region: Ambo, Fiche, Asella, Robe, Ginnir, Shashamanne, Jimma, DambiDolo, Nekemte, and Nedjo branches.
  • Sheger City: Koyefache, Legadadi, and Chanco branches.
  • Addis Ababa/Finfinne: Gulale and Gorobranch branches.

Position 5: Branch Manager Grade I

  • Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Management, Economics, or other related fields.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a Microfinance Branch Manager, or 3 years as a Microfinance Loan Officer/Branch Accountant.
  • Place of work:
  • Oromia region: Ambo, Fiche, Asella, Robe, Ginnir, Shashamanne, Jimma, Dambi Dolo, Nekemte, and Nedjo branches.
  • Sheger City: Koyefache, Legadadi, and Chanco branches.
  • Addis Ababa/Finfinne: Gulale and Gorobranch branches.
