Job Summary

The Corporate Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the assigned sector. The job involves selling Islamic Finance Banking (IFB) products to existing customers and acquiring new customers. Additionally, the role requires providing business advice that benefits the client.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, marketing management, business administration, banking, finance or related field.
  • Diploma/ Certificate in Islamic banking finance or related field is an added advantage.
  • Experience in corporate banking is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience out of which two (2) years in supervisory post.

Behavioral Competency

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and risk awareness and focus.
  • Good customer relationship management skills (internal and external customers).

Technical Competency

  • In-depth understanding of Interest Free(Islamic) banking operation, IFB Deposit and Investment/Financing products, and working knowledge Shari’ah principles pertaining to IFB.
  • Sound knowledge of IFB mode of finance/investments and associated risks.
  • Knowledge and experience in modern sales and marketing practices in financial services industry to provide visionary guidance on strategic changes to drive performance.
  • Networking skills to effectively leverage relationships that will enhance customer acquisition and retention.
  • Extensive banking background including understanding credit, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level leaders regarding key business priorities, issues, and initiatives.
  • Project management skills.
